Adastral park leisure and sports

Access to the facilities at Adastral Park

The facilities at Adastral Park are centred around the Sports Hall (B73), Clubhouse including Tennis Courts (B78) and Fitness Centre (B65). In addition some Clubs, eg. the Sub-Aqua Club, have their own rooms or buildings at other locations on the Park.

Permanent and temporary employees of current Adastral Park based companies have their own photographic or temporary passcards to gain access to the Park. Members of ATLAS who fall into this category may access and use the facilities at any time by agreement with their employing company. For BT people with agreed local flexibility in working, the Gym is open Monday to Friday 7am to 8pm and the other Sports Hall and Clubhouse facilities may be booked (via the WEBsite) and used from 7am to 10pm daily. These are the standard arrangements. At times certain special security requirements may come into effect, eg. Members may be asked to sign in to use the Clubhouse facilities at the weekend. Access to other locations on the Park is by special arrangement with the individual Clubs concerned.

Retired employees of current Adastral Park based companies who were Full Members of ATLAS before they retired, and Immediate family (partners and/or children) of Full Members may also access and use these facilities - though some special conditions and restrictions apply. People in this category must possess an Adastral Park Leisure and Sports photographic Membership card*, which must be shown at the Gatehouse on entry and displayed clearly at all times. Also, as Adastral Park is a BT operational site, areas are restricted to the Hub Building (B80), Sports Hall (B73), Clubhouse and Tennis Courts (B78) and Fitness Centre (B65) only, and times are restricted to 11.30am to 2pm and 5pm to 10pm weekdays and 9am to 10pm at the weekends only. Children under 18 years of age must additionally be escorted by a permanent employee, and cannot come onto the Park for the 11.30am to 2pm weekday slot. These are mandatory restrictions. Anyone who needs to access a location outside these designated areas should be considered as a Guest (see below). Access is only within the restricted times, which means that the people in this category must arrive and leave in the stated period. Anyone wishing to bring a vehicle onto the Park must obtain and display an ATLAS (green and black) car parking permit*. Please note the working agreement between BT and ATLAS that anyone found outside the designated areas or on the Park outside the designated times will be asked to hand over their ATLAS Membership card and leave. At that point their Membership will be cancelled.

Full Members who are permanent employees of current Adastral Park based companies may invite and host Guests to use the facilities by special arrangement with both the Park Security team* and the appropriate individual Club on a case by case basis. The above mandatory restrictions apply, unless there is a special written agreement in place with the Park Security team. Individual guest pass(es) must be arranged, and the host is responsible for the safety and conduct of their guest(s) at all times.
