Karate Club
The ATLAS Karate Club train three times a week at Martlesham in the sports hall B73, on Mondays Wednesday and Friday evenings at 17:30 to 19:00. If you are new to the sport or new to our club then you are welcome to come along and join in at anytime, we make sure that we train you according to your abilities. If you prefer you are more than welcome to come and just watch us train.
We are part of the English Korean Karate Association EKKA and have close links with other EKKA clubs in the area. Some of our members participate and complete very successfully in local and national competitions both at EKKA and open competitions.
All you need to start is a tracksuit bottom and an old tee shirt, we normally train in bare feet.
If you have an Adastral park ID card and you can go direct to the sports hall. We pick up non pass holders from the main gate at 17:30. Please contact John on 01473 647816 prior to arriving at the gate for security reasons.
We have a professional instructor therefore there is a small charge for lessons. Please see club notice board for details.
If you wish to train regularly or your children, you will be required to be a member of Adastral Park Leisure and Sports.
