Speakers club
The Speakers Club helps people to improve their ability to
speak effectively in all situations.
The club is committed to encouraging the art of effective
speaking through practise and feedback rather than classroom teaching. It does not have professional lecturers or speakers but draws upon the collective experience of its membership (who have all suffered fear or lack of confidence themselves) to help evaluate and encourage newer members.
Within this relaxed atmosphere of friendly and congenial club
gatherings the club offers a well proven approach to learning and improving effective speaking - both prepared and impromptu.
By using a unique method of speech delivery training,followed by immediate evaluation, members can speak to a small supportive
audience, and then receive constructive comments, wherein good points are praised and faults identified for elimination. Practise makes perfect, so frequent visits to a lectern help to diminish the nerves experienced by most speakers.
