Sunstar Sub Aqua
The club organises diving activities and holidays all over the UK and world-wide including Australia Canada, Egypt, Gozo, Menorca, New Zealand and Sardina. Not forgetting a busy program of UK diving from single days off the East Coast to a week in Scotland with new trips always being planned.
It owns two boats equipped with state of the art electronics, to help track down elusive wrecks, plus its own minibus.
The club runs a training scheme for all levels, from club diver to advanced diver, which leads to an internationally recognised BSAC qualification.
The club meets on Mondays from 20:20 to 22:00 hours at Fore Street Pool and then adjourns to the Lord Nelson next door till closing time.
