Competitions
We will be holding competitions to promote the main forms of sustainable travel alternatives to help reduce the number of single occupancy journeys to the Park – i.e. Walk, Bike, Bus, Share & Think!
Current Promotions
Annual Travel Survey – each completed response to the annual travel survey received during November 2008 will earn a £1 donation for the Childline charity with a target of raising over £2,000 if we beat last years survey responses.
National Express East Anglia Season Tickets – 10% discount for BT employees, expires 31Dect08. Refer to the leaflets in the Hub or on the intranet at Benefits PLUS for further details.
Halfords offer two discounts for BT employees: 15% discount for BT Benefits PLUS non-promotional bikes and accessories and 10% discount on everything else.
If you are unable to enter this months promotion there will be further events in the future to help promote other alternative modes of sustainable travel.
Previous prize winners
Congratulations to the following winners:
- Zita Kingsbury and Darin Crawford are the final two winners of the £50 Pledge vouchers kindly sponsored by the BT CSR Betterworld team. They join the previous lucky winners: Nicola Millard, Chris Church, Mark Mackinder, Mark Hodge, Louise Helliker, Paul Cooke, Parag Garud and Ru Hill.
- Nick Taylor won the August car share top prize of a £150 SatNav system with Clive Carrington and Tirupati Banerjee each winning £50 Halford vouchers.
- Mark Mackinder and Mark Hodge join Louise Helliker, Paul Cooke, Parag Garud and Ru Hill as winners of the BT Environment team Pledge prize draw with £50 vouchers for Nigel's eco-store.
- Timothy Wyer wins the July walk-to-work top prize of £100 vouchers for an outdoor coat, with Hema Chandra winning £75 walking shoes and Kumar Mohan the Nike Pedometer.
- Darren Baker won a Nike+ Ipod for the overall Atlas Gym Triathlon prize draw winner along with Mark Wade who was drawn from the top ten individual times to win a £100 watch.
- Dave Knock & Diane Bartram win free family day ticket for entry to Ipswich Transport Museum
- Darren Hogwood wins a 6 month season ticket for us on Ipswich Buses
- Nik Bestow and Colin Body each win a National Express family leisure first class day rail ticket to London
- Mallesha Chari wins an Ipod Shuffle for the 'Guess the Mileage' competition
- Mark Shackleton and Kevin O’Neill who each won £250 in travel related vouchers for suggesting the winning name for our new travel plan – Grass Routes.
