What would you like to see on your Grass Routes website?

Welcome

Welcome to the Grass Routes website – an area designed to provide you with travel information to aid your journey to, from and within Adastral Park – as a commuter, a visitor or a business traveller.

The main aim of the website is an information tool to support the new Adastral Park Travel Plan, which is ultimately designed to encourage us all to think about the way in which we travel to work.

Adastral Park is a key location in the East of England and BT has set itself some big challenges to help reduce its impact on the local community and ultimately support BT’s climate change objectives as well as Suffolk’s drive to be The Greenest County. By promoting alternative travel modes and more sustainable and healthy ways to get to work, we ask you to think about making a small change to your daily commute, but together making a big difference to our carbon footprint at Adastral Park.

As the travel plan manager for Adastral Park, I will be working to provide the best possible travel-related information and working with local transport providers and other key stakeholders to encourage better links to Adastral Park.

In addition to this website, a number of initiatives are being introduced:

  • this new website
  • a new travel information desk in the Hub
  • regular events, promotions and new incentives
  • regular surveys, focus groups and buddy groups
  • personal travel plan sessions
  • and much more to come

I would be really interested to receive your feedback or any suggestions on how we can develop the travel plan together, or if you would like to join a new Travel User Group (focusing on bikes, bus & trains, walking, car drivers and smarter working), please feel free to send contact me via the Feedback Request on this homepage or by email to: adastral.travel@bt.com.
