How to get here

A useful journey planner site for road and public transport access is available from TransportDirect.info

By Road
From the Midlands and the North take A14 toward Ipswich. From London and the South turn off the M25 at J28 onto the A12 to Ipswich. Follow A14 East (signposted to Felixstowe), around Ipswich and over the Orwell Bridge. Join A12 north (J58, signposted to Lowestoft) for approx 2 miles. Adastral Park can be found by turning right at the second roundabout.

The latest traffic information is available from the Highways Agency website.

A priority parking scheme has been introduced at Adastral Park for car sharers. Anyone who shares a car to or from Adastral Park is entitled to park in the green parking bays located in car parks across Adastral Park and by using these spaces car sharers can benefit from wider bays, located close to buildings for greater convenience to encourage car sharing. Commuters, visitors and business travellers can find more information about car sharing at Adastral Park at Grass Routes.

We kindly ask that the priority parking scheme is respected and that only car sharers travelling to or from Adastral Park use these green parking bays.

Rail
A regular and frequent train service runs from London Liverpool Street to Ipswich Station taking approximately 1 hour. At peak times the service runs four trains an hour. From the Midlands and the North take a train to Peterborough which provides connecting trains through to Ipswich (via Ely or Cambridge) every other hour or so at peak times, which can still be quicker and cheaper than going via London. Trains from Norwich to Ipswich: a regular service leaves Norwich once every half hour at peak travel times.

From Ipswich Railway Station you can get to Adastral Park via the “Superoute 66” bus or by taxi. Taxi fares from Ipswich Railway Station cost around £15 each way and the 66 bus costs around £4 return.

Bus
The “Superoute 66” bus service leaves Ipswich Railway Station for Adastral Park (“Martlesham Heath, British Telecom”) approximately every 10-15 minutes. The scheduled journey time is around 40-50 minutes; a single fare will cost around £2.20 or £4.00 for a return. The 66B provides a more direct and quicker route.

Air
The nearest major airport to Adastral Park is Stansted Airport, which is located just over an hour’s drive from the Park making it easily accessible from areas around the UK and the Continent. Air Direct can be used to make arrangements for travelling between Adastral Park and Stansted Airport.

For those arriving from Europe it may be more preferable to arrive into London City Airport due to there often being more regular European flights here than at Stansted. It takes about 20 minutes to get from London City Airport to Stratford train station via Poplar on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), alternatively you can take the DLR to Bank and change to the Central Line Station for Liverpool Street. From either railway station the journey time to Ipswich Station is just over an hour. The table below provides details for travelling to and from Adastral Park through Ipswich train station.
